i get tired of feeling sometimes. i know at this age, maturity should make me get over that, but really, i don't like this at all. i have lovely periods where i just work all the time, but then there's that one moment when you see that person whom you could talk to at any time and now that can't happen and you wish you hadn't even opened up ever and life would've just been easier to deal with if you didn't know what you were missing.
i know, everyone already knows this. i'm just slow on the uptake.

of course you don't. but me and my freakish memory (that jason says i should put to better use) do remember, and i just thought about what he looked like. i had a hunch, and consulted the all-knowing imdb.com.

PS - bhangra trip to atlanta was awesome, especially the parts where two first year guys threw up. gotta love first years. in all seriousness, it was a LOT of fun.

went to orthodox church this morning, 'cause i'm determined to go to as many different places of worship as i can. panayiotis was the chanter, and may i say he kicked ass (which i guess i couldn't say in church).
life lesson: y'know in teen movies, where the guy and girl break up and then one or the other gets a crush like a month later and acts like a 12-year-old and then finally learns that he/she is satisfied with life as it is? i just went through that. it feels silly, 'cause in retrospect, should've seen this coming, but no, this is just one of those things you have to experience and feel silly about in order to learn your lesson. oh, good times.

so, haven't writting here in a long time, but seeing the Grand Master D. Tran check his made me kinda want to write something, though i'm really not sure at the moment.
i will say this much: growing up is strange because ine day, it becomes embarrassing to go over things the way you did not even a year ago. comnig to that realization gets a little bid sadder for me every day. also, this doctor business. my whole life i've wanted it, now i have to make it a reality. i remember thinking in middle school, yeah maybe i'll go to TJ, and i was completely chill about it, though my family made a huge deal. that seems to be how i approach every big deal in my life, but i start to wonder if this crossroads is something that should be approached with more caution. for me, though, caution is detrimental, and i haven't yet figured out why.
huh guess i did write something ;)
also, the night DT told me i should update. we sat and talked about porn for a long time. the conversation made me giggle, as does porn!
biochem hw, bleah.

it's another weird dream! (from two nights ago actually)
so, the whole dream is like a movie, and it takes place under the sea. dustin diamond (otherwise known as Screech from Saved By The Bell) plays a merman (don't imagine it, it's awkward) who falls in love with this human girl. she's this character from Ned's Declassified something-or-another (i'm never watching TV with kiran and lila again). it pretty much plays out like THE LITTLE MERMAID, but no musical numbers. dustin diamond has this...i think it was his sister, who was the annoying blonde from High School Musical (ARGH!) and she helps him out by transforming herself into a human (i don't know why SHE had that power, but whatever) and getting into a massive catfight with the girl he likes, which includes hair pulling, tearing of clothes and scratching. when she scratches this girl, she somehow infects her with the gene (or something) that eventhually turns her into a mermaid. there was even a close-up of the scratch, and it showed this egg-like thing multiplying and swimming around in a vial (but girl doesn't equal vial, hm...). come to think of it, it looked like something from the movie HELLBOY (i'm the only one who saw that, aren't i?) so the last scene is both of them swimming around in the ocean, doing the Swordfish courting ritual, which was Screech turning in place and the girl swimming around him.
WTF??

PS - i don't actually know what the swordfish mating ritual is, or if they even have one, that's just what the narrator said it was in the dream.
PPS - oh, and last night's dream was a bollywood one. oh boy. |

that was a dumb sounding sentence.
anyways, the interesting thing is he's actually half-indian, so the choice of him as an actor wasn't completely daft, as i thought it was all these years.

oh boy, this is the last test free week of mine before the end of the year. yeah that sounds weird to say. finals start in the beginning of may, how odd, the year can't be over because i still feel extremely childish and immature. things that might have 'matured' me is going out, but there, i just learn how to deal with drunk people. oh, the stories that has spawned.
but in other news, i am offically going for a B.Sc. in Chemistry with Specialization in Biochemistry. i must be out of my mind. that makes me the third chem major in a row in my generation, although the three of us aren't the same TYPE of chem major (but we ARE all TJ kids, how ironic).
that reminds me, CONGRATULATIONS to all seniors who've heard about college so far. it feels damn good, i know, and it'll only get better.
i'm rusty at this. sorry 'bout that.
i'm alsp apparently in a really grumpy mood, according to lizzie, and i guess i am, though i have no idea why. quite an annoying feeling.
mmm i'm sleepy. damn 8 AM class on wednesdays.

i love this weather! 76, sunny, everyone is happy. i feel amazing. i did a chem lab in one hour today (gotta love looking at colors), i ALREADY did my math homework due tomorrow, AH! it's great.
UVA is amazing. seriously. there may be manymanymanymanymany preppy white people, but there are just as many kooky ones, and i'm glad my hall is full of them. i never relized what i missed out on, being an only kid. just living with these girls is amazing. need physics help? go to the physics major! need shoes? go to the girl with 30 pairs! it's amazing. and living with lizzie? well, alright, it's a little crazy sometimes, but i wouldn't have it any other way. we're already planning for our apartment next year. but college life, that's amazing. you truly learn something new everyday, and it doesn't have to be academic either, which is generally the case. mostly it's figuring out bus routes, learning a bajillion things on wikipedia since we have FAST INTERNET (sweet), oh, and how to deal with drunk people. but the best times i've had happen when i'm with friends, and we talk and hang out till 5 in the morning which is when we relize the sun's gonna rise soon, but we couldn't care less. there's a hell of a lot more i could say, but i haven't gotten back into my livejournal rhythym (sp?) yet. maybe later.
INDIA! i have no idea what to say. i have a slew of new nephews and neices (who can be viewed on facebook through me or lizzie), my cousins are OLD now (as in 25) and some are married, some have kids, it's weird. but everytime i've gone, i realize how much i love them. i've never cried when i left, but this time, if lizzie hadn't been in the car with me, i would have broken down. i figured she migth've been weirded out. thankfully, she didn't get skin cancer. i'm glad she came, i think she had fun, 'cept one of my nephews threw up on her. that was early on though :)
best thing that's happened recently: (this is supersuper dorky, btw) lizzie bought me this AMAZING anatomy poster. it's got ALL the body systems, and a lot of labels and it's SO great, it's at the foot of my bed. yaaaay. on that note, i bought my first MCAT review book yesterday. it was exciting, but a wee bit freaky.
speaking of that, i think i'm gonna go read now ;)

heh, the last entry i wrote was a really happy day. i remember that really clearly.
